On August 30, University of Illinois President Tim Killeen and a delegation of senior administrators and deans from the U of I System's three universities gathered in Peoria for meetings with local alumni, state and federal lawmakers, and business and community leaders to explore new opportunities to build on existing partnerships and drive economic growth in the region. The day included roundtable discussions with top management at Caterpillar and OSF Healthcare and its Jump Trading Simulation and Education Center, as well as a debriefing session with the media.
