HIPAA Directive and Hospital Policies

The U of I HIPAA Privacy and Security Directive is available to view or download from Box (U of I Box login required). The Directive is the latest implementation of the requirements set forth in the BOT HIPAA Privacy and Security Compliance Policy from 2013. The UIC Hospital has HIPAA Privacy and Security Policies that are aligned with the U of I HIPAA Privacy and Security Directive. Those policies are specific to UIC Hospital and Clinic employees and are available through their intranet.
