Residency |
An indicator of where the student resided before first enrollment. For this purpose, residency is derived based on citizenship and the address at time of application/admission. International students are based on citizenship and are defined as those students in this country on a specific visa. Illinois resident and non-resident are derived based on address at time of application/admission. Students classified as non-resident include non-citizens taking online courses from their home country. Prior to Fall16, residency at UIS is derived from tuition assessment (in-state vs. out-of-state). |
