The Division of Biomedical Sciences (DBS) desires to implement the Harvard Faculty Profile Tool at UIUC to assist faculty in locating and collaborating other researchers with common research interests. In addition to increasing collaboration, implementing Profiles will reduce duplication of research projects and increase funding for joint endeavors not only between fellow researchers within U of I System, but with other Universities. The initial implementation will be to pilot the capabilities of the Harvard Faculty Profiles Tool for the Illinois Interdisciplinary Health Sciences community. It is hoped the tool would have broader applicability either across all campuses and/or across more research disciplines. For this project, AITS will provide hosting and implementation services and the annual maintenance and support for hardware and software needed to host Profiles. For more information, please contact the PMO Office.
