Eligibility?
Who is eligible for UIC's Transfer Drive? Students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a new Fall 2026 full-time student at Harold Washington College
- Plan to transfer to UIC in Fall 2028, after completing associate’s degree
- Demonstrate eligibility for need-based financial aid

The Fall 2026 application is now open. The deadline to apply is Monday, September 7. Applications
will be reviewed in mid-September, and decisions will be released the week of September 21.
Transfer Drive participants are not guaranteed admission into UIC. Students may be eligible for
guaranteed admission through the University of Illinois System Transfer Guarantee
or the University of
Illinois Chicago Transfer Admission Guarantee.

The University of Illinois System has implemented a new program called Transfer Drive. This
program will be available to Parkland College students interested in transferring to the
University of Illinois Springfield upon the completion of an Associate’s degree.
This program is still pending approval and subject to
changes

Eligibility
Who is eligible for UIS’s Transfer Drive? Students who:
- Enrolled at Parkland College
- More eligibility requirements to come
- Fill out the inquiry card below to receive more information
- Plan to transfer to the University of Illinois Springfield
- Are eligible for a form of need-based financial aid
