Former Cook County Circuit Court Judge Louis Garippo has requested an extension of the Aug. 1 deadline for his report on the Chief Illiniwek Dialogue, citing the very large volume of correspondence he has to review.
The Dialogue generated more than 18,000 letters, emails and items of public testimony.
Judge Garippo's report is expected early in the fall semester. The Board will also announce the date for its Special Response Session early in the fall semester.
