Tragedy at Northern Illinois University

All of us at the University of Illinois extend our condolences and support to the members of the Northern Illinois University community at the time of this tragedy.

We are at a loss for words to fully express our feelings of shock and sorrow and outrage. Across our three-campus university system, our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their loved ones.

Life is precious. Life is fragile. Life must go on. Let's support one another.
