Stukel Towers: On campus, convenient

Stukel Towers on the UIC campus.Stukel Towers, the newest addition to the residence options on the University of Illinois at Chicago campus, is already a popular choice for freshmen and sophomores who want to live near classes and be part of a growing residential community on the urban campus in the heart of the Windy City.

Located at the corner of Roosevelt Road and Halsted Street, James Stukel Towers is named for the former president of the University of Illinois who spent the majority of his career on the UIC campus. Students who live in Stukel Towers participate in special interest learning communities focusing on engineering, architecture or business. Also located on the south campus are Marie Robinson Hall and Thomas Beckham Hall, which offer apartment living to upperclassmen.

UIC campus housing, part of student affairs, provides a variety of housing options to students and offers an array of support programs, services and activities that give UIC students an educational advantage. Campus housing also offers a database of information about off-campus housing options.

The University of Illinois at Chicago is an urban university intimately connected to its home in one of the nation's largest and most diverse cities. A noted research center, particularly in urban affairs, medicine and the health sciences, UIC is committed to creating and disseminating new knowledge.
