Verification of EmploymentThe University Office for Human Resources provides an online employment verification system for banks, mortgage lenders, rental agencies, and government-approved housing management firms. Employees on all three University of Illinois campuses and in central administration can provide such agencies with access to employment information. The verification system requires that an employee establish a temporary vendor access number (VAN) that will allow bank staff to view an individual's information.
