UIC dental clinic ribbon cutting, Chicago, April 8, 2013
U of I President Robert Easter attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new dental implant and innovation center, part of the 100th anniversary celebration of the UIC College of Dentistry. After the ceremony, President Easter and other dignitaries toured the new facility.

The ProCare Dental Implant and Innovations Center and Dentsply Implants Clinic was launched through a $1 million legacy gift from ProCare Dental Group PC and led by its president, Robert Brunetti. The $3 million, state-of-the-science center was also supported by Dentsply Implants, a global dental supplier, and the Guy D. and Rebecca E. Brunetti Foundation. It features KaVo Group dental equipment.

The center, which features 10 operatories and classroom space, is one of the most modern and technologically advanced oral health care centers in the world and a core resource for the college's students, patients and educational programs.
