Mrinalini Chatta Rao
Vice President for Academic Affairs
Dr. Rao is the chief academic
officer for the University. She responsible for defining and shaping
strategic academic priorities and directions of the university,
providing advice on academic policy issues and supporting academic
initiatives. On behalf of the president, Dr. Rao also chairs key
University-wide committees and serves on the University Policy Council
with the other vice presidents, chancellors and university officers.

Walter Knorr
Vice President,
Chief Financial Officer and Comptroller
Mr. Knorr is the University's chief business and financial officer
and comptroller of the University, elected annually by the Board
of Trustees. Knorr serves as treasurer of the University of Illinois
Foundation and is an ex officio member of the University of Illinois
Alumni Association board of directors. He has management oversight
and responsibility for these offices and functions:

Avijit Ghosh, Ph.D.
Vice President for Technology and Economic Development
Dr. Ghosh is the senior research officer of the University, responsible
for technology commercialization and economic development for the
University of Illinois system. In this role, he serves as
the principal for the University's limited liability companies and
as the director of the Research Parks. He exercises direct
line authority over the University's major offices and entities
involved in technology commercialization, economic development,
and research parks, including:
