  • "Lincoln's Unfinished Legacy" and race relations in the United States following the Lincoln era was discussed in September by Dr. James Loewen in Brookens Auditorium at the University of Illinois at Springfield.

  • Digitized collection of nearly 650 books that pertain to Abraham Lincoln, the American Civil War, and slavery. The collection, part of the Illinois Harvest resource from the Urbana campus library, includes biographies and writings of Lincoln and his contemporaries, contemporary accounts of the Civil War and Lincoln's assassination, memorial volumes, campaign literature from the 1860 election, Civil War sheet music.

  • Digital repository of Lincoln's writings for scientific and educational purposes created by the National Center for Supercomputing Application on the Urbana campus

  • Audio from the Future of Education panel, hosted by the Institute of Government and Public Affairs on October 7, 2009. Panelists included former Illinois governor Jim Edgar, executive director of the Illinois Board of Higher Education Judy Erwin, and Lincoln scholar O. Vernon Burton.
